The minister of higher education and scientific research assigned Prof. Dr. Alya’ Abbas Al-Attar a new president for the Northern Technical University after the retirement of Dr. Mowafak Yehya Hamdoon. Mr. Minister reiterated the importance of involving women in university leaders and creating diverse climates that serve higher education in Iraq. He thanked the previous president and praised the attendance achieved in the fields of technical specialization, wishing the new president of the Northern Technical University, all the success in the mission of leading one of the institutions of higher education and scientific research.
